Very large home I love the roof lines and the chimneys especially the all stone.

Over the last year we watched the original house that was on this property be
demolished and this one as it was built.
It is HUGE. The driveway is as long as a street and it has a portico on the side.
Has all copper gutters and on the overhang above wind front bay windows
Lots of all which way symmetry here.
That stone chimney is cool!

I wish we could put our power lines under ground, can't do it here, 2 or 3 feet down and it fills with water. I like the lines of the church and the tower and the windows with the small panes. if I had a house that big I would need a housekeeper and 2 maids

ReplyDeleteLove both of the houses, especially the second one but I'd be worn out keeping it cleaned. The church is beautiful. The chimney on the first house is awesome. I like the contrast between the dark metal(?) roof and the color of the house. I don't know, maybe I like the house with the chimney the best... :)

Mom wishes we had underground power lines too. Like Sandra, we would hit water pretty fast. The power lines always interfere with rocket launch photos.

ReplyDeleteOh, I love uptown Charlotte with no above ground cables. There are so many picture taking opportunities and I am always taking pics of there skyscraper bank buildings...nothing to get in the way of a grand pic.
