Feline and Nature Friday

Nature Friday host LLB Gang  and Feline Friday  host Comedy Plus

My Feline Nephews
I thank, Kit, my feline photo journalist and Mom to the nephews, for sharing this adorable photo

About 10 days ago the staff of Murphy and Stanley took them on a short trip in their home on wheels.  They went to Twin Falls, Idaho
Snake River
Twin Falls is a city in southern Idaho. It’s known as a gateway to Snake River Canyon, which lies just to the north. At the canyon’s eastern end, Shoshone Falls cascades over a broad series of rocks. Trails along the canyon rim lead to the towering Perrine Bridge,
which offers panoramic views and is a popular launching point for BASE jumpers. At the town’s northern edge, Perrine Coulee Falls tumbles over a cliff. ― Google

Bridge at Twin Falls the itty bitty specks on the bridge are cars.

Of course Bob and Carol took their bikes
Bike trail overlooking falls.

Normally there is more water but that area has been extremely dry
Side note temperatures on their trip were in the triple digits.

They also visited the site of Evel Knievel's motorcycle ramp

Robert Craig Knievel (/kˈnvəl/; October 17, 1938 – November 30, 2007), professionally known as Evel Knievel, was an American stunt performer and entertainer. Over the course of his career, he attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps. Knievel decided upon his nickname after spending the night in a jail cell after illegally attempting a stunt. He was in a cell next to a gentleman called Arthur Knauful [pronounced nor-full] who because of his vicious behaviour had gotten the nickname “Awful Knaufull” which led to Robert coming up with the nickname “Evel Knievel”.

Evel Knievel built for practicing his stunts.

I thank, another photo journalist, Carol for these absolutely stunning photos she shared.

    2. Hi Carol!
I cycled 83 miles with a couple of friends last Sunday! Longest ride I've done for years. It took a while to recover...
      Cheers, Gail.

  5. I have to admit, I wasn't sure about Rocky and Kat. I really thought Kat was not impressed with having to share his peeps and home but they sure have turned out to be brothers and bonded in a wonderful way. I love this picture♥ I am very happy they have each other and their peeps who love them to the moon.
The pictures from Carol and Bob are "stunning" as you say, Cecilia. I would like to visit Idaho. I have a blogging friend that lives in Sandpoint, Idaho. Good Morning!

  7. Cecilia, they look almost exactly like the picture of Wave and Bob I had on my blog recently. So cute.
I have autographed posters from that stunt over Snake River. Have several others. My father was crazy about that crazy man.

  8. Precious kitties and oh so beautiful photos! And I am so glad that I don't have to drive over that bridge. It looks pretty amazing but it would scare me silly to ride on it.

  10. That picture of Rocky and Kat is just too precious. We remember when they didn't really like each other at first and now look how sweet they are together. It looks like Murphy and Stanley and their pawrents are having a good time travelling.
