Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy
Many years ago I made the decision
not to wear high or low heels
No matter the occasion.
I do not have dizzy spells
I am clumsy and don't pay attention
I can multitask.
However; talking (a lot) while walking
Is not in my skill set.

ReplyDeleteLOL... yup, concentration required for balance! YAM xx
to be at the gym in heels is something LOL
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...weight lifting in heels...that's a first!!!
ReplyDeleteSigh ... and I can't even walk in "no heels".
ReplyDeleteI used to wear high heels all the time, but now it is comfort before fashion. My dress evening shoes even have flat heels now.
ReplyDeletethis reminds me of all the ads back in my child/teenhood , the women wore heels no matter if they were vacucumng, or shopping or scrubbing toilets. this is my first seeing a weighlifter in heels and also, it would have been a scandal for a woman to lift weights back then and if for some reason they did, they would have had on a long skirt and long sleeves with those heels.
ReplyDeleteLifting weights in heels doesn't seem too bright to me. LOL
ReplyDeleteOur mom agrees with you that heels of any kind are not to be worn.
ReplyDeleteHugs to Angel Madi ~ fun post ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days

Wearing heels for any occasion is a no-no for me!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! Never have worn high heels! Your poem made me smile♥
ReplyDeleteMommy knows all about that stuff...believe it or not. However...she lefts me do all the lifting and so on, now.
ReplyDeleteCute poem. At 5 ft 10 inches tall, I have never been a fan of heels. XO
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun poem, ya done good.
ReplyDeleteWeight lifting in heels is quite the accomplishment
ReplyDeleteIt's wise to recognize our strengths AND our weaknesses......and wearing heels when you know you shouldn't - well - that's like rolling the dice at the casino when you know the game is "fixed" !!
