I prefer Snow Ice Cream over snow flakes on tongue. When we woke up to a world buriedn in snow, mother gave me a pan to run out to the cars and dip only the new clean snow into the pan and then she added milk/cream, sugar and vanilla and we all had snow ice cream. I wonder how that would taste now.. your poem is beautiful and as delightful as the photo of wonder on his face
I used to catch them too and probably still would if I only thought of it. Getting older has its minus's 'cause you don't always recall the fun kid stuff you can still do. .

We had snow much more often when I was a child, and I can remembering catching snowflakes.
