princess, poet, promise, party

As always 'eye' thank you for stopping by

Each week when I put on my poet hat

You never know from one moment to the next what 

will pop out of this cat.

Mom's  reign as princess of words goes without being said.

From sunrise to sunset there is a  party in her head.

It often keeps her out of bed.

She tosses and turns til her head feels like lead.
 Her dreams are of fairies, and elves

who sit on shelves.

A promise is made that her lines will rhyme and not

cause my our ears to scream in pain.

However, we all know they mostly turn out insane.

Mom shouts it is not my fault

The party in my head is to blame!

They say necessity is the Mother of Invention.  OMCs my Mother is now an inventor. She KNEW she needed a different set up in our office so that she would not have to sit all the time.
Of course she could have purchased a special standing desk but the desk she has was her Daddy's and did not want to replace it
TOGM had a brain wave yesterday morning. She took a few
measurements and then off to her favorite store Bed, Bath and Beyond to look for a bed tray with legs.
Ta Da introducing our new portable desk extension.
 Not only is it the purrfect size and has room for the keyboard and mouse, it is made of wood the same color as the wood on the desk. From the top of the desk to the top of the computer the measurement is 25 1/4".  She and Dad share this space so all she has to do when she is finished is take the tray away.  BUT DAD was quite impressed with the set up and he might even use it some too!!

The bed tray was $29.99 and I had had $10.00 coupon

Everytime I go to Bed, Bath and Beyond I found exactly what I need for my bed or bath and now

I have found the 'beyond'!!

#3. Tuesday Teaser Cheer Tale

Blogville's favorite Tuesday Teaser cheerleader, SuzieQ, (whom I admire immensely) wrote me a cheer.

Teddy mentioned he might need to lose a few of his 16+ pounds.  I asked him  if I could have them 'cause I'd really like to get to 8 lbs again.  I'm close but not there yet. It amazes me how quickly I lost some poundage and how hard it is to put it back on.

UPDATE on  TOGM aka Mom
She has been doing sciatica stretches and trying not to sit for too long.  We are hopeful for a full recovery sooooooner than later!!  Mom says this PITT is getting old!
 She had this on her left side 3 years ago.  YIKES!!
