MADI: Friday's fine feather friends

(please click on the picutre to enlarge)

This is a Male Eastern Bluebird and absolutely Mom's favorite blue bird.

He came to visit on Thanksgiving Day. Mom just knew when she went out to get a picture he'd leave but he didn't and she was very HAPPY. She cannot take good bird pictures from inside.
Big reason she is looking for a new camera.

She keeps telling Dad she wants a dress with these same colors in it.

BTW Mom's other passion (besides ME is birds)!!!
(PS when you enlarge the picture you might notice beside our neighbor's a/c unit
he has a 'FAKE' OWL. WE Don't know why...he is a little strange).

Lots of decorating at the homestead this weekend. Mom is going to try to get lots of
pictures of me helping. I do this every year. Hopefully we'll get them posted by
Sunday,
Madi and Mom

  6. I saw the blue-est bird I have ever seen last week. I don't think it was a bluebird because I have never seen a bluebird so deeply and fully blue! But I was out walking Jack and didn't have my camera with me, so no picture! :(

  12. Oh how very pretty - we love birds too.....well we love chasing them!
That was a very pretty bluebird - we tend to have great big fat pigeons mainly in our garden.
We have a little bird table, which we moved to the front garden years ago. We keep trying to get sweet little birds to visit but the big fat pigeons come and take all the food and then sh.. on the cars in the drive!!!!!
Good luck with the decorating - we will do ours in a week or two.
    love
