Saturday: Cat's Bill of Rights #1

I, Madi, have certain inalienable feline rights...that are not being observed.
I heard Mom reading them from "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Loving our Cats".
I insisted that these rights be posted on Saturdays until they have all been listed and properly observed.

"I have the right to observe and comment on any and all bathroom behavior and....
Further I have the right to be highly offended by any closed door
And FYI this door doesn't completely close so I push it with my nose and walk right in.
When I do this, a cool breeze follows me and whomever is in the shower squeals M A D I....
Then I leave...oh and I don't know how to close the door.
That is so much fun.
Signed,
Madi
NOTE FROM MOM AND MADI: My humans sis and her hubby will be coming to see us on Sunday.....THIS TIME...they will be bring Harley (cat) with them. Harley has been feeling less than PURRfect lately. His vet wants to have some tests run that can only be done at the Special Vet Hospital in Cary on Tuesday morning. I haven't seen Harley in nearly 3 years (he does NOT travel well so he stays home)...Mom has all her fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed that I behave myself while Harley is here and that I am the PURRfect Hostess. Time will tell....keep all your paws crossed for me.
Maybe Mom can get some pictures of us together....

  4. Hi Madi & Mom,

Cindi Lou is sitting beside me nodding her head in agreement with the rules. She is not fond of closed doors and will loudly make her displeasure known to all.

We hope Harley's test results are good and something can be done to make him feel better. We will also keep our paws and fingers crossed that he and Madi have a good visit.

    Have a great holiday weekend,
    Mom and Cindi Lou

  10. We have opinions on closed doors, too. Maui likes to "express" his in a liquid manner...the rest of us just scratch and yell at the door(s).

We're sending purrs for Harley...please be a good hostess...as a Dive we think you could be nothing less than Divine!

  15. Madi, I can't imagine who squeals your name as you sneak in the bathroom during showers to help vent the steam!
You better be a good girl while Harley and Sis are there! I know you're the Diva, but they need some space with Mom, too!
You can go back to your normal self when they leave!
    Chin scratches to you,
    Hugs to Mom,

  17. We don't like closed doors either and like to escort every one into the bathroom. If we are too late and the door is already shut, I, Flynn, yowl and Eric scratches until it is open.
We hope you act like a lady when Harley comes to stay.
