Awww x 2 MONDAY and Sparks

I have two Awww Mondays that go perfectly with my SPARKS

#1 Awww Monday

About noon on Friday, February 7, 2020
Dad of Angel Madi found this on the floor!!
(FYI I vacuum weekly)
I'm sure we found many whiskers and tons of fur after she past..
How appropriate on this Valentine's Week...
a Whisker fell from OTRB
It is now secure in a box with her fur.

Our itty bitty kitty came little cat feet to leave us some love.

Carl Sandburg's poem
Fog says it purrfectly

The fog comes on little cat feet.
It sits looking over harbor and city on silent
 haunches and then moves on.

#2 Awww Monday and multiple

Friends of ours recently adopted
Daisy an 8 year old Piebald Dachshund from the Raleigh Dachshund rescue...
Rose, their Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, passed 3 weeks ago.  They were gonna wait til Spring to look for another one Dachshund; however, Gretchen has been so very lonely and wandering around the house looking for Rose.
Gretchen was the boss of the house; however, it seems she is so happy to have a sista she has handed over her crown.
Daisy didn't miss a beat putting on her Tiara.  Daisy makes Gretchen wait to enter a room until SHE , Daisy, has entered.

Daisy is a long haired *Piebald Dachshund
*A piebald dachshund has a white coat with patches of gray, black or brown. ... A piebald dachshund puppy is born when two wieners with the recessive piebald gene breed together. ... Your sausage dog is a piebald dachshund if it sports areas of full-color fur on a white background.

Gretchen is a long haired red...
Cheers for Adopting instead of Shopping

Sparks quite appropriate for today

  1. Wow, don't think we've ever seen a piebald dachshund. But Bertie of course believes that multicoloured pups are the best!

  5. Daisy is so cute! I have never seen a piebald daschie before.
It is very special to find one of Madi's whiskers. I still very occasionally find a single fur from Flynn, but the other day I was looking through some old clothes and found one of Eric's even though it is almost 7 years. I know it was his because he had longer fur than Flynn. I keep all their fur and whiskers in a little wooden cat shaped box.

  20. I think there have been two angel visits, one to leave a whisker and one to leave a dog

  21. Definitely a big AWWWW for Angel Madi leaving you a whisker. Most excellent time to have found it! You know how I feel about Sandburg's poem♥ So happy Daisy found a home and Gretchen and Daisy more than get along.

  22. Madi showed you she is always with you. Angel Lexi could never use that sign to me, not with Lucy shedding like she does. It's a wonder Lucy has any hair left on her body with the amount I vacuum up every week!
I've never seen a piebald dachshund. How unusual looking from what I am used to.

  23. That is so sweet! And has to be a message!

  24. I still found hair from my Golden for years. It always seemed his way of saying “hi” from the Rainbow Bridge.
